Job Description:

The Aftersales Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the success of the Service & Parts Departments for Claas of America. This position is responsible for developing and overseeing the strategic direction of the aftersales functions, ensuring seamless integration with the overall business model.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of how Parts and Service Departments contribute to business profitability and customer satisfaction. Proven experience in managing and leading teams in a multi-location environment, with a focus on customer-driven directives, is essential.

The Aftersales Manager will be responsible for:

  • Verifying market opportunities and developing aftersales business plans
  • Establishing consistent and reliable processes for aftersales functions
  • Leading and directing aftersales personnel, including training and staff development
  • Coordinating complex processes and personnel in field or remote roles
  • Optimizing aftersales function performance and growth
  • Providing exceptional customer relationship management skills
  • Maintaining a balanced inventory and managing overall parts budget
  • Delivering timely and accurate Service and Parts KPIs

The successful candidate will be a strong leader, with excellent communication and negotiation skills. They will be able to persuade and influence others, while maintaining confidentiality and tact. A farm background is preferred, but not required. Prior knowledge of similar industries is highly desirable.

This role requires frequent travel by auto between locations, with a valid driver's license and a verifiably safe driving history. Overnight travel and weekend or evening work may be required during peak seasons.

Your Profile:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or an Ag-related field, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar function, managing and leading a team in the areas of Service and Parts, is required.

  • Advanced experience in team supervision/management
  • Strong networking and negotiation skills
  • Experience and proven success in optimizing aftersales function performance and growth
  • Proven customer relationship management skills
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of local, regional, and national regulations for business practices, employment, and safety
