Sales Operations Specialist Job Description

At RAM Mounts, we're seeking a highly skilled Sales Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing procedural documentation, improving sales processes, and collaborating with stakeholders to analyze and tailor processes to meet the needs of our company and users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for sales, working closely with sales leadership
  • Identify and implement best practices to enhance sales team efficiency
  • Manage internal sales request sheets, including process improvements and documentation requests
  • Be a subject matter expert on Salesforce and its capabilities
  • Collaborate with the sales operations manager to determine sales best practices
  • Proactively identify needed system changes and implement them
  • Coach NPI users on standard operating procedures and communicate operational updates
  • Provide proactive communications to the sales team on new or updated processes
  • Generate reports for sales team analysis and outreach
  • Perform systems audits for procedural compliance
  • Work with production and quality teams on cross-functional tasks and projects
  • Manage regulatory compliance and industry forms
  • Update product information for distribution partner systems
  • Process customer information requests and support the sales operations team as needed

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment
  • Order entry and customer service skills in various industry-leading ERP, CRM, and ticket management systems
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including phone-based B2B customer service
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Exceptional Microsoft Office skills, including Excel data manipulation
  • Energetic personality with a self-starter mentality
  • Decision-making, problem resolution, and creative thinking
  • Able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Collaborative, efficient, and systematic approach
  • Experience with project management platforms such as JIRA, Trello, or Wrike

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Sales or account management experience
  • Higher education degree or certificate
  • Salesforce administrative experience
  • Previous experience working for an ISO-certified company
