Job Summary: We are seeking an Operational Compliance Associate Manager to join our Sunnyside team in Florida. This role involves educating, auditing, and supporting operations to ensure adherence to state regulations. The successful candidate will report to the Operational Excellence Manager and must demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, alongside a keen attention to detail and a collaborative spirit to navigate diverse state regulations.
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-store evaluations through audits, training, and procedural oversight.
- Gather, assess, and audit self-inspection reports.
- Provide educational support to retail locations to ensure compliance with state regulations and operational guidelines.
- Monitor inventory discrepancies and collaborate with the team to address issues.
- Facilitate comprehensive inventory audits in accordance with state mandates.
- Assist the GA/Legal team with state communications regarding discrepancies and compliance issues.
- Manage routine requests to the state, including vendor events and local marketing initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance or operations, preferably within the regulated cannabis sector or similar regulated industries such as alcohol, tobacco, or manufacturing.
- Proven ability to cultivate strong working relationships across all organizational levels.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on identifying and resolving issues collaboratively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, adept at articulating complex information clearly to internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Ability to manage a high-volume workload under tight deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience handling confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with state and local regulations or the ability to develop such knowledge.
- Must be located in Florida.
- Willingness to travel periodically (approximately 20%).

Compensation:
The estimated compensation range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000, with eligibility for bonuses. Final compensation details will be influenced by various factors, including geographic location, market data, skills, and experience.
