Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Biohazard Remediation Safety Expert to develop, implement, and oversee a robust health and safety program tailored to our unique biohazard remediation operations. This includes creating, expanding, and maintaining health and safety policies, programs, procedures, and protocols to guide the safe execution of biohazard remediation tasks, as well as establishing training programs and initiatives to ensure all employees are well-informed and proficient in safety practices.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing, implementing, and overseeing a comprehensive health and safety program that meets regulatory requirements and ensures a safe working environment.
- Creating and maintaining health and safety policies, programs, procedures, and protocols to guide the safe execution of biohazard remediation tasks.
- Establishing training programs and initiatives to ensure all employees are well-informed and proficient in safety practices.
- Conducting regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Maintaining open and clear communication channels with all levels of the organization to promote safety awareness and address safety concerns.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A strong background in occupational health and safety, with certifications in OSHA-30 or equivalent.
- A bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence others across all levels of an organization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a sense of urgency and a focus on meeting goals and deadlines.
What We Offer:
In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $115,000, plus bonus opportunities based on individual performance and company success.
