Job Description

AESC US LLC is seeking a highly skilled Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our Global Industrial Development team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mechanical systems for cutting-edge battery manufacturing facilities.

About the Role

As a Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and develop mechanical systems that optimize system performance, efficiency, and sustainability. Your expertise will ensure seamless project coordination and collaboration, and you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to design standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop innovative mechanical systems for battery manufacturing facilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project coordination and collaboration
  • Ensure adherence to design standards, codes, and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports

Requirements

  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in design of mechanical systems for industrial facilities utility infrastructure
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems design, dry systems (HVAC, CR/DR mechanical systems) and/or wet systems (process distribution piping, air compressors and dryers, vacuum systems, pumps, heat exchangers, pure water, process chilled and hot water, and nitrogen generation)
  • Working knowledge of applicable design guides and standards related to utility systems (local building codes, ASME, NFPA, ANSI, ASHRAE, etc.)
