Job Title: Manufacturing Quality Engineer

Autocam Medical is a leading contract manufacturer of orthopedic implants, spinal implants, precision instruments, and orthopedic cutting tools. We offer a value-added approach to high-precision manufacturing, with specialties in CNC milling, turning, and cutter grinding.

Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Quality Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing production processes to ensure efficiency and quality. This role will analyze the value stream, identify opportunities for improvement, and lead process improvement projects to reduce costs, lead times, and inventory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical troubleshooting and problem-solving support to production teams.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and quality.
  • Manage project start-up teams and oversee project launch guides from purchase order to PPAP.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality, safety, and maintenance standards are met.
  • Develop and revise technical documentation to specify manufacturing processes.
  • Provide accurate and complete engineering documentation.
Requirements:
  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing capacity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software and SolidWorks.
  • Project Management and Lean Manufacturing experience.
