Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on transit vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with transit vehicles, including engine, transmission, and electrical systems.
  • Conduct safety inspections on transit vehicles to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operation of our transit fleet.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our riders and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in heavy vehicle repair and maintenance.
  • ASE certification in diesel and gasoline engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, and steering.
  • Valid Class B or C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
