Position Title:

Manufacturing Process Engineer

As part of our ongoing commitment to excellence, we are expanding our operations with a new state-of-the-art facility. This initiative will enhance our production capabilities and support the introduction of innovative products.

The Process Engineering team plays a crucial role in establishing and transitioning all manufacturing workflows for both the current and upcoming facilities.

The manufacturing environment encompasses a variety of processes, including sheet metal cutting and fabrication, CNC machining, hydraulic press forming, manual and robotic welding, powder coating, assembly, and inspection, alongside specialized processes for our products, such as hydraulic cylinder and hose production.

We are currently looking for a consultant to assist the Manufacturing Process Engineering team. The chosen candidate will likely engage in projects across both the existing and new facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Capital Projects (35-40%)
  • Troubleshooting (10%)
  • Downtime/Quality Investigations (20-30%)
  • Tooling Design/Design for Manufacturing (10%)

The focus will be on identifying opportunities to optimize workforce efficiency and enhance automation within capital projects. In terms of troubleshooting, the engineer will provide support when maintenance teams are unable to resolve issues. For tooling design, they will create tooling solutions based on specifications provided by the product development team.

The selected candidates will balance project management duties with hands-on troubleshooting of equipment.

From a project management perspective, they will oversee specific assignments, collaborate with vendors and suppliers, manage new product launches, and work on machine installations and downtime reduction strategies.

In instances where maintenance or quality teams face challenges, the Process Engineering group will step in to assist with troubleshooting or repairs.

During project support, candidates will engage in design for manufacturing tasks, including tooling, fixtures, and machinery, utilizing CATIA software.

Essential Skills:
  • Assembly
