Director of Operations Job Description

At Synerfac, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations to join our team. This is an exciting leadership opportunity with a stable Mechanical Contractor in the area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work between departments to ensure the overall success of the HVAC operations.
  • Be hands-on with estimates and the bidding process.
  • Provide direction for the field team.
  • Ensure profitability and advance relationships with clients.
  • Maintain safety standards and a healthy organizational culture.
  • Facilitate the ordering of needed materials for jobs.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of leadership experience with a commercial HVAC Contractor.
  • Strong estimating/bidding skills and ability to thoroughly understand project specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills and understanding of local businesses/contacts.
  • Experience working on HVAC construction/renovation projects valuing $1 million or more.
  • Previous experience ordering materials for jobs.
  • Strong organizational skills and business acumen.
