The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with inventory management, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate Bills of Materials (BOM), overseeing daily production reporting, supporting the month-end close process, and ensuring accurate inventory reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update the Bill of Materials (BOM) in IQMS to ensure accurate inventory costing at SEC plants.
  • Implement the annual cost roll and quarterly commercial costing updates.
  • Prepare daily production reports for management and handle ad hoc analysis as needed.
  • Accurately prepare journal entries for the month-end close process.
  • Reconcile SEC General Ledger inventory accounts with the perpetual inventory records and other supporting documents monthly; investigate and explain variances.
  • Monitor key General Ledger accounts daily for potential issues related to production, receiving, and shipping, and conduct monthly account analysis.
  • Analyze and adjust the obsolescence reserve on a monthly basis.
  • Manage accounting for customer toll accounts.
  • Assist with the annual Physical Inventory as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience with Bill of Materials and inventory reconciliations.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in PC applications, particularly Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Experience with IQMS is a plus.
