Darigold Production Supervisor Role Overview

The Estimated Annual Salary for this role is $80,000 - $100,000.

This production leadership position at Darigold offers a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for supervising the assigned production shift and associated personnel. You will be expected to maintain a high level of productivity and continuous improvement in areas such as safety, reliability, cost savings, team building, and personnel management.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide effective leadership and supervision for the assigned production shift, motivating and training personnel to ensure superior levels of performance.
  • Conduct team meetings and work collaboratively with Engineering and Quality Assurance staff to create a cooperative environment.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot manufacturing issues, developing self-directed teams to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure Good Manufacturing Practices are adhered to.
  • Participate in and lead SPC project teams to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.

What We Are Looking For:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (industry experience considered).
  • Prior experience supervising in a unionized facility an asset but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work with diverse groups, and achieve results through others.
