Key Responsibilities
  • Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to deliver individualized patient care using evidence-based practice and analytical thinking.
  • Provide relationship-based patient-centered care that adapts to diverse patient needs and cultural backgrounds.
  • Partner with patients and families to set and achieve care goals, using effective communication and patient education strategies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate safe and quality patient care, promoting a respectful and inclusive clinical environment.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence-based practice to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in nursing practice, staying up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and accreditation requirements.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing.
  • Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current/active license as a registered nurse in the State of Georgia.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Additional certifications may be required in specific practice areas.
Preferred Qualifications
  • National Certification in Area of Specialty.
  • Experience with direct patient care and specialty experience may be required.
