Job Summary
The Network Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the network infrastructure for Compass Health Network. This includes managing the network architecture, implementing security measures, and ensuring optimal network performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Compass Health Network's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless hardware/software.
- Perform network design and capacity planning to ensure optimal network performance.
- Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards to support network procurement and development efforts.
- Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network products and services.
- Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network resource administration, appropriate use, and disaster recovery.
- Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.
- Administer and maintain end-user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
- Perform system backups and recovery.
- Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports.
- Recommend, schedule, and perform network improvements, upgrades, and repairs.
- Manage and/or provide guidance to junior members of the team.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in network infrastructure design and implementation, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $76,000 per year, plus benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
Location
This position is based in Missouri, near Sedalia, and requires the ability to work from home.
