Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Shift Lead to join our team at Perian - CG Hospitality Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cash Handling and Inventory Management: You will be responsible for managing cash handling, bank deposits, and inventory levels to ensure accurate records and minimize losses.
  • Staff Scheduling and Development: You will create and manage staff schedules, provide coaching and training to team members, and identify opportunities for growth and development.
  • Store Operations and Maintenance: You will oversee the maintenance of our restaurant, including cleaning, health and safety standards, and equipment maintenance.
  • Customer Service and Quality: You will ensure that our customers receive exceptional service, and that our food quality and presentation meet the highest standards.
Requirements
  • Problem-Solving and Communication Skills: You will need to be able to think critically and communicate effectively with team members, customers, and management.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: You will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of staff, and working collaboratively with other departments to achieve business objectives.
  • Basic Computer Skills: You will need to be proficient in basic computer skills, including data entry and record-keeping.
Qualifications
  • Restaurant Experience: You will need to have previous experience working in a restaurant environment, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Education and Certifications: You will need to have a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license.
Physical Requirements
  • Physical Demands: You will need to be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and move quickly and safely around the restaurant.
