As a Systems Engineer at SRC, you will be pivotal in the setup, production, testing, and ongoing support of radar, CUAS, and electronic warfare systems. Collaborating with seasoned engineers and manufacturing experts, you will ensure manufacturability and sustainability of SRC products. Your responsibilities will include maintaining system configurations, facilitating the transition from development to production, establishing production testing protocols, monitoring component obsolescence, and resolving issues encountered during production. You will work alongside diverse, cross-functional teams of hardware, software, and manufacturing engineers, staying at the forefront of electronics manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define system configurations, including Bills of Materials and system schematics.
  • Develop testing procedures for systems and subsystems.
  • Engage in Configuration Control Boards to assess product changes for manufacturability and sustainability.
  • Analyze trade studies, system architectures, algorithms, system requirements, and design specifications to enhance product and process accuracy, repeatability, and yield.
  • Investigate and rectify system faults identified during the transition to and during production.
  • Conduct system simulations, modeling, and data analysis (using MATLAB and/or Python) to uncover opportunities for product and process enhancements.
  • Monitor and address issues related to obsolete components.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in systems engineering technologies and tools.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in systems engineering or related fields involving RF and electronic systems.
  • Familiarity with systems engineering, configuration management, and product lifecycle management tools.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 10%) to support field tests, demonstrations, and client meetings.
  • Must be a US citizen.
