Job Summary

We are seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for providing exceptional service to patients and visitors, ensuring a safe and secure environment, and providing support services to patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and acknowledging patients, visitors, and co-workers as they enter and exit our facilities.
  • Ensure patient safety by screening patients and visitors according to established protocols, including temperature screening and monitoring.
  • Provide distribution services of requested items between various departments as needed.
  • Transport patients safely and efficiently between various departments.
  • Collect and disinfect patient care equipment and reusable items.
  • Follow established protocols for patient care and safety.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent working knowledge.
  • BLS certification required upon hire.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Interpersonal skills to operate in a direct patient contact environment.
  • Ability to interpret verbal and written information and effectively communicate with others.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six months' previous healthcare or customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
