Job Overview

We are seeking a visionary Elementary School Principal to lead Eagles Nest Academy in Flint, MI. As a key member of Phalen Leadership Academies (PLA), you will be responsible for driving academic excellence and fostering a supportive school culture.

Competitive Salary:

The base salary for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, PLA offers a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare, vision, and dental insurance, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

As an Elementary School Principal with Phalen Leadership Academies, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading Instructional Improvement: Develop and implement effective instructional strategies to drive student achievement and close gaps in academic performance.
  • School Culture Development: Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that promotes social-emotional learning, character development, and academic excellence.
  • Team Management: Supervise and support teachers, staff, and other personnel to ensure effective implementation of school policies and programs.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze data to inform instructional decisions, identify areas for improvement, and develop targeted interventions to support student success.
  • Community Engagement: Build relationships with parents, community members, and local organizations to promote partnerships and enhance the educational experience.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A current Administrator's License
  • Proven experience as an instructional leader, preferably in a turnaround setting
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to think creatively and drive innovation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders
