Support Staff Member

We are seeking a dedicated Support Staff Member to join our team in Scranton, PA. This role will involve working closely with children in Autism and SPED classrooms at a middle school.
About the Role
This is a full-time position, 32.5 hours per week, from 8:40AM to 3:40PM. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of experience in paraprofessional or special education settings.
Responsibilities
* Assist teachers in creating a supportive learning environment
* Work one-on-one with students, providing individualized support and accommodations as needed
* Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement lesson plans
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior
Requirements
* High School Diploma required
* Prior experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
