About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team on a 13-week contract in Scranton, PA.

As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
  • Under the direction of the Chief of Radiology and the Imaging Services Director, perform related technological functions to ensure optimal diagnostic quality of patient care.
  • Interview patients to explain MRI procedures and address their concerns.
  • Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
  • Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least two years of experience as a MRI Technologist with continuous recent experience and proficiency in all duties required of a MRI Technologist II.
  • A valid license in the required state.
  • BLS certification.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • The ability to present information effectively to customers, clients, and other team members.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
