Job Title: Design Engineer IV for C5ISR Systems

THOR Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer IV to support our C5ISR systems for the U.S. Navy's LHA/LPD amphibious assault ships.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented engineer with significant experience in C5ISR design engineering and integration to join our team. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in U.S. Navy amphibious ship C5ISR systems and interfaces, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide design engineering support for LHA/LPD ship C5ISR systems and interfaces
  • Research, develop, and coordinate technical documentation for new ship procurements
  • Prepare and review shipyard contract modifications, including Change Requests (CRs) and Engineering Change Requests (ECRs)
  • Provide general engineering and technical support for concept studies, feasibility studies, and independent design reviews
  • Assess shipboard requirements and provide recommended engineering design and integration solutions
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or industrial discipline from an ABET-accredited institution
  • At least ten years of relevant professional experience in C5ISR design engineering or similar
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. Navy amphibious ship C5ISR systems and interfaces
