Job Title: Donation Center Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Donation Center Attendant to join our team at Memphis Goodwill Incorporated. As a key member of our donation processing team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that donations are sorted, processed, and prepared for sale in our stores.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sort and process donations according to Goodwill's guidelines and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service to donors, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operate a cash register and process donations, including issuing receipts and making change.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to Goodwill's safety and sanitation standards.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
