Key Responsibilities- Accurately create and maintain patient profiles in the pharmacy computer system
- Register patients and enter prescription orders into the system
- Assist patients, family members, and employees with prescription drop-offs and set pick-up expectations
- Assist pharmacists in filling prescription orders, compounding non-sterile products, and dispensing prescriptions
- Handle phone calls from patients and healthcare providers
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- MA Pharmacy Technician license
- Current pharmacy technician registration in good standing from the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy or eligibility for registration
- Minimum one year of experience as a pharmacy technician (preferred)
