Job Summary
Edgefield 01 Public Schools is seeking a highly skilled Paraprofessional to join our team. As a key member of our educational staff, you will play a vital role in supporting students and teachers in the classroom.

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing diversified support functions to assist classroom teachers, including supervising students, transporting students within the building, and creating a safe and stimulating environment. You will also provide supplemental instruction to students and aid instructional efforts under the direction of the classroom teacher.

Responsibilities
- Supervise students in the classroom, during pull-out classes, in the lunchroom, and on the playground
- Help transport students within the building
- Assist in ensuring a safe and stimulating environment
- Provide supplemental instruction to students and aid instructional efforts under the direction of the classroom teacher
- Assist teachers with data collection, record keeping, and creating materials for the classroom
- Copy materials as requested

Requirements
- Associates Degree, 60 credit hours in a higher educational institution, or passing score on Work Keys preferred
- Thorough knowledge of school district policies and procedures pertinent to the duties of the job
- Ability to analyze varied and complex functions, processes, and tasks for the preparation of varied and complex records and reports
- Ability to work independently on responsible and confidential assignments and complex administrative tasks
