Job Summary:

The Telephone Communications Coordinator will be responsible for responding promptly to all telephone calls, ensuring seamless information exchange between patients, visitors, and hospital staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responds to incoming and outgoing calls in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintains accurate records of calls and messages
  • Provides excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff
  • Assists with directory assistance and transfers calls as needed
  • Covers breaks and absences of other switchboard operators as required

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Proficient in English and Spanish preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Able to meet the communication needs of patients, visitors, and staff

Working Conditions:

This is a Per Diem position working varied shifts at Coral Gables Hospital. The selected candidate must be flexible and able to work a rotating schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Estimated Salary Range:$45,000 - $65,000 per year
