Key Responsibilities:
As the Nutritional Products Supervisor, you will oversee the operations and sales of the Nutritional Department. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering outstanding customer service by providing prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable assistance regarding our extensive range of supplements and health products.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of vitamins, supplements, and health and beauty items to effectively guide customers.
  • Managing product orders and inventory control to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Leading sales initiatives and promotional events to meet sales, margin, expense, and labor objectives.
  • Collaborating with the Buyer and Store Manager to assess inventory based on sales reports and market trends.
  • Coaching and evaluating team members through constructive feedback and performance discussions.

  • Recruiting and hiring new team members in partnership with the Store Manager.
  • Addressing team member concerns with confidence and professionalism.
  • Documenting corrective actions as necessary and collaborating with HR for performance management.
  • Maximizing productivity by effectively creating and adjusting schedules.
  • Communicating standards, expectations, and product knowledge to the team.
  • Leading a collaborative team to ensure the highest quality of products and customer experiences.

Qualifications:
To qualify for the Nutritional Products Supervisor position, candidates must:
  • Be at least 18 years old with a minimum of 1 year of experience in vitamins, homeopathy, or holistic health, along with leadership experience.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to follow and give directions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the department.
  • Comply with all safety and health regulations.
  • Be open to learning about new products and alternative health solutions.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
  • Be physically capable of performing tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Possess the ability to maneuver equipment and perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Be willing to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Have a basic understanding of sales reports and financial goals.
  • Exhibit a friendly demeanor and a positive attitude towards team members and customers.
