Material Handler Driver

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Driver/Material Handler to join our team at Watertronics. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely loading and unloading company trucks and trailers with production parts and product, and transporting them to vendors or additional facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload production parts and product onto company trucks and trailers, ensuring compliance with all DOT requirements.
- Transportation: Transport production parts and product to vendors or additional facilities, maintaining accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, identifying and reporting shortages, and ensuring that all materials and supplies are properly stored and organized.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on material-handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of production parts and product.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in data entry and ERP systems.
- Physical Demands: Ability to frequently lift 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds, and to stand or walk for extended periods.
The work environment for this position is in an industrial setting, where all policies regarding safety must be followed. The employee will occasionally work near moving mechanical parts and will be occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
