Family Service League Inc. is seeking a skilled Counselor to join our team. As a Counselor, you will provide individual and group therapy to children, families, and adults with a range of mental health and substance use disorders.
Responsibilities:- Conduct intake assessments and provide individual and group therapy sessions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
- Provide linkage and follow-up services to clients during the stabilization period and beyond.
- Coordinate with outside providers and collateral contacts to ensure comprehensive care.
- Attend regular supervisions and team meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.
- LMHC or limited permit required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a behavioral health setting, with clinic experience preferred.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records.
- Valid and clean NYS Driver's License required.
