Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Cath Lab Tech to join our team at Methodist Hospital Westover Hills. As a key member of our Cardiac Cath Lab team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians in performing cardiac catheterization procedures, including coronary angiography and left ventriculography.
  • Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including angiographic systems and hemodynamic monitoring devices.
  • Collect and analyze data from various sources, including ECGs, pressure tracings, and angiographic images.
  • Collaborate with the Cath Lab team to ensure smooth procedure execution and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in a related field preferred.
  • ARRT certification or RCIS/RCES certification required; current certification eligible candidates must pass the RCIS/RCES exam within 18 months of hire date.
  • Minimum one year of invasive cardiovascular technology experience or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
