We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Pract to join our team at Methodist Hospital Metropolitan. Responsibilities- Provide respiratory care to patients with a range of conditions, including respiratory failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and pneumonia.
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 90 days of employment start date.
- Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification.
- State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
- Licensed Certified Respiratory Therapist (LCRT) certification.
