About the Role

As a member of our Information Systems management team, the Technical Systems Director will have technical and managerial responsibility for the systems applications group.

This is a hands-on management position that encompasses approximately eighty percent active technical participation and twenty percent supervisory/management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on system technical support to Administrative Systems.
  • Manage assigned personnel in the system application group, including salary administration, performance issues, training, hiring, termination, coaching, and counseling.
  • Provide quality, effective, and consistent computing solutions to the corporate financial administration group as required.
  • Assume the role of project manager in the implementation of enhancements to the Administrative Systems environment.
Candidate Qualifications
  • 10 years of experience in systems support functions in an administrative systems environment with a focus on systems support and a keen understanding of financial applications.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with IBMi, RPG400, and ILE is a must.
  • Project management experience is required.
  • Experienced in systems development, design, implementation, and post-implementation processes.
  • Strong database knowledge and background.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, plus the ability to successfully interact at all levels of management.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is desired but not required.
