The successful candidate will have the chance to build and lead their own team, overseeing the firmware and software development process. The principal firmware engineer will play a crucial role in the company's success, embodying a philosophy of innovation and creative problem-solving. Qualifications / Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in firmware development
- Proficiency in Embedded C / C++
- Experience with bare metal programming on ARM processors
- Background in architecting and developing firmware from the ground up
- Familiarity with various digital bus protocols such as I2C, SPI, CAN, UART, USB, etc.
- Strong debugging skills and methodologies
- Able to manage high-priority projects while handling routine administrative responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Operating System GUI Development with UART interface
- Knowledge of analog peripherals such as ADCs and DACs
- Experience in digital filtering and processing data from analog sensors
- Familiarity with lithium-ion battery technology
- Experience with bench evaluation tools
Education:
BSEE, BSCS, or BSCE degree or higher.
