Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales and Training Manager to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving membership growth and sales in our assigned club. Key Responsibilities
  • Drive membership growth and sales in the assigned club by communicating goals, results, and feedback to associates and members.
  • Ensure signage and marketing collateral are up-to-date and effective in promoting membership programs.
  • Complete and maintain required documentation and forms to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Work cross-functionally with members, managers, and associates to identify training gaps and needs, and develop training plans and materials to support membership sales.
  • Teach associates to process and sell memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts, and communicate relevant information on membership events and benefits.
  • Direct club membership goals by selling memberships in the field and in the club using various techniques, and communicate with current and prospective members to identify their needs and match them with appropriate membership benefits and services.
  • Respond to membership questions and concerns, and encourage membership renewals and account decisions.
  • Demonstrate exemplary actions and workload execution by modeling and training processes to associates, providing on-the-job training, and delivering new program rollout training.
  • Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, and identifying and addressing improvement opportunities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or related field, or 4 years' experience in sales, retail, or related field.
  • 1 year's sales experience in business-to-business sales.
