Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in SCADA system management or a related role, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of SCADA systems, including software and hardware components.
  • Proven experience in team management and employee development.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong understanding of SCADA system architecture, protocols, and communication technologies.
  • Proficiency in major SCADA software platforms (e.g., Wonderware, GE Proficy, Siemens WinCC, Rockwell Automation).
  • Experience with programming languages used in SCADA systems (e.g., Python, C++, ladder logic).
  • Knowledge of networking principles, including TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls, and Ethernet.
  • Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with PLCs, RTUs, HMIs, and other industrial control hardware.
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Prior experience in a leadership role within a utility or industrial environment.
  • Additional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Automation Professional (CAP).
