Perioperative Nurse

Job Summary:

As a Perioperative Registered Nurse at LifeBridge Health, you will play a critical role in delivering safe and age-appropriate care to patients undergoing surgical or other invasive procedures within our Ambulatory Surgery Facility. You will individualize plans of care to coordinate and deliver care, and function as an advisor, resource, preceptor, and leader for other members of the patient care team.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced perioperative environment
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to develop and implement individualized plans of care
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements:
  • Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college)
  • 1-3 years of experience in a perioperative setting
  • Maryland Registered Nurse License
  • American Heart Association CPR Certification, ACLS required
