Job Title: Workday Financial Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Financial Business Analyst to join our team at DRS IT Solutions Inc. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Workday Financial Modules, particularly in the Project and Grants & Billing modules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement Workday Project, Grants & Billing modules
  • Analyze customer requirements and concerns to determine the nature and extent of the issue
  • Develop and execute change management plans for transition to new systems
  • Consult with implementation partners and technical staff to ensure functionality of automated systems
  • Test or coordinate testing of new installations or upgrades
  • Participate in evaluation of new technologies, enhancements, or solutions to improve service and efficiency of systems
  • Research and analyze system/user problems using various analytical and research techniques
  • Participate in the establishment of standards and procedures for system development
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Project, Grants & Billing modules
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Information Systems or equivalent
  • 4+ years of experience in Public Sector
  • Prior experience working with the State of GA Financials system
  • Ability to translate business needs into business and functional requirements
  • Ability to conduct application design and architecture component configuration for related modules/business processes
  • Ability to write and interpret functional and business requirements as an input to application design
  • Ability to develop and test detailed functional design for business solution components and prototypes
  • Ability to complete tasks in an efficient and timely manner and report progress regularly
  • Ability to seek innovative approaches to improve the process of delivering Workday financial accounting and reporting solutions to customers
  • Ability to share suggestions and knowledge capital to help optimize the Financial Systems Division's implementation and project methodology
  • Ability to develop Workday reports
  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency in relevant analytical abilities
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both oral and written formats
  • Ability to work effectively with functional and technical teams
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Project, Grants & Billing modules
