Key Responsibilities:
- Collaboration: Assist in all administrative tasks related to plant operations, ensuring thorough documentation of procedures tailored to each site. Engage in the development and execution of best practices for plant administration.
- Auditing: Conduct regular audits of plant operations to verify adherence to internal control policies and procedures.
- Training: Facilitate training sessions for new Plant Office Coordinators and provide ongoing support based on identified needs.
- Travel: Engage in extensive travel between plant locations, primarily for day trips, with occasional overnight stays.
- Coverage: Provide temporary coverage for Plant Office Coordinators, executing all essential duties, including:
- Order Coordination: Manage customer orders, ensuring accurate ticketing and efficient traffic flow at scales.
- Daily Operations: Execute various administrative tasks as directed by plant management, including handling purchase orders, payroll, and financial tracking.
- Plant Liaison: Serve as the primary contact for visitors and manage incoming communications effectively.
- Office Management: Oversee inventory levels for office supplies, prepare necessary documentation, and collaborate with Human Resources and Safety departments on personnel and safety matters.
Qualifications:
Essential Skills:
- Customer Service Orientation: Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience: Background in bookkeeping, accounting, or related fields is advantageous.
- Accounting Knowledge: Understanding of fundamental accounting principles and office practices.
- Technical Proficiency: Competence in using computers and software applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
