Job Description

Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative 2nd Shift position is a fast-paced and dynamic role that plays a crucial part in the success of our operations. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with customers and on-site management to manage shipping and receiving, as well as billing and invoicing. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask efficiently, and a customer-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service assistance to customers and manage incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Compare identifying information and count, weigh, or measure items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
  • Delivery Management: Set daily delivery appointments and process incoming deliveries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Load Processing: Process completed loads and resolve any issues with shipping and/or receiving with internal staff.
  • Administrative Tasks: File paperwork daily and maintain accurate records.
  • Compliance and Safety: Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed. Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.

Requirements:
