Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Long Term Care team at Providence Kodiak Alaska Medical Center. As a CNA, you will provide clinical and clerical support to our patients and residents, promoting a resident-directed model of care in a home-like setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide routine nursing and household duties/tasks to support the care of our patients and residents.
  • Assist with basic clinical procedures and provide emotional support to patients and families.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care and a positive patient experience.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on best practices.
Requirements
  • Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
  • 12 hours of in-service training annually to maintain certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6 months of experience as a nurse aide, nursing assistant, or private caregiver.
