About the Role

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing and physician staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to nursing and physician staff by performing tasks that assist in the care and treatment of patients/residents with illnesses or injuries.
  • Transport patients and perform some clerical duties.
  • Provide continuity of care while ensuring patient and resident privacy and dignity.
Requirements
  • Coursework/Training and Must complete twelve (12) hours of in-service training annually to maintain certification.
  • Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year of patient care experience in a healthcare setting.
