Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Providence Kodiak Alaska Medical Center. As a CNA, you will provide support to nursing and physician staff by performing tasks that assist in the care and treatment of patients/residents with illnesses or injuries.

Responsibilities
  • Transport patients and perform some clerical duties
  • Provide continuity of care while ensuring patient and resident privacy and dignity
  • Assist in the care and treatment of patients/residents with illnesses or injuries
Requirements
  • Coursework/Training and Must complete twelve (12) hours of in-service training annually to maintain certification
  • Upon hire: Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License
  • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year of patient care experience in a healthcare setting
