Job Title: Crime Analyst

Placer County is seeking a highly skilled Crime Analyst to join our team. As a Crime Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing crime and intelligence data to support investigations and inform strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze crime and intelligence data to identify trends and patterns
  • Develop and maintain intelligence databases
  • Conduct research and provide recommendations to support investigations and strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders to share intelligence and best practices
  • Develop and present reports and briefings to stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as criminal justice, criminology, or a related field
  • 1 year of experience in crime analysis or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
