Job Title: Education Coordinator

Family Service Association is seeking a highly skilled Education Coordinator to join our team at Kids Academy in Fall River, MA. As an Education Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality education programs that meet the needs of our children and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with EEC, NAEYC, FSA, and QRIS standards.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to education staff on classroom implementation and curriculum delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Program Director to identify external specialists, field trips, family involvement, and special events.
  • Supervise classroom compliance with Department of Early Education and Care Standards, FSA Policies, QRIS, PQR, and NAEYC accreditation standards.
  • Prepare and submit reports to the Program Director, including staff time sheets, facility checklist reviews, staff & classroom observations, education staff schedules, and lesson plans.
  • Address behavior problems within the classroom and develop and implement behavior management plans as needed.
  • Manage and maintain necessary paperwork for Teaching Strategies Gold.
  • Assist the Program Director with EEC licensing and NAEYC accreditation.
Requirements:
  • Meet all EEC requirements of Lead Teacher.
  • Preferred EEC requirements for Director.
