Event Planning and Coordination

As an Event Planning Specialist at Insight Enterprises, Inc., you will be responsible for managing all aspects of assigned company and partner events. This includes communicating with stakeholders, understanding event goals and objectives, and executing event communications and tactics to ensure objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Outline and manage event timelines and milestones
  • Meet with key event stakeholders to understand goals and objectives as well as budget
  • Submit creative requests related to event needs and provide updates for creative teams
  • Review, negotiate and coordinate signing of event related contracts
  • Work with 3rd party companies including venues, event planning companies, DMCs, booth management organizations and hotel event staff
  • Build registration pages and manage throughout the process
  • Ensure event items are ordered and shipped to the event site
  • Coordinate and indirectly manage volunteers assisting with the event
  • Communicate regularly with event stakeholders and other marketing teams
  • Lead or assist with event-planning meetings with key event stakeholders
  • Build event budgets, track expenses and investment throughout the process
  • Conduct debrief meeting(s) to recap lessons learned and share ROI reporting
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination of event logistics
Requirements:
  • Daily demonstration of Insight's values of Hunger, Heart and Harmony
  • Drive to deliver exceptional events and a go-getter mentality when executing multiple events at one time
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience with coordinating marketing events, conferences, client-facing events, incentive travel
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university preferred; or related marketing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Cvent knowledge not required but is a plus
Compensation:

The base salary range for this position is typically $65,000 to $70,000 with benefits. However, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, including experience and location, and we will also consider candidates outside of this range as necessary.
