Memorial Health University Medical Center is a leading healthcare provider in southeast Georgia and southern South Carolina. We are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and are seeking a highly motivated Recreational Therapy Specialist to join our team.
As a Recreational Therapy Specialist, you will provide therapeutic activities and interventions to patients to enhance their physical, emotional, and social functioning. This role requires strong assessment and treatment planning skills, as well as effective communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams.
We offer a dynamic work environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development. The estimated annual salary for this position is between $50,000 - $75,000, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and retirement savings options.
Our ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Music Therapy, Art Therapy, or a related field. You should also have relevant certification, registration, and/or licensure in your designated degree field per national and state practice requirements.
