Robot Operator

U-Haul is seeking a skilled Robot Operator to join our team in a manufacturing and assembly role. As a Robot Operator, you will be responsible for operating welding robots, interpreting work orders, and performing quality checks on parts. This is a rewarding position that offers competitive pay and excellent benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate welding robots to assemble and weld parts
* Interpret and carry out work orders, blueprints, and verbal instructions
* Perform daily preventative maintenance on robotic welding machines
* Conduct quality checks on parts using inspection tools
* Clean and organize workstation
Requirements:
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints
* Ability to pass print reading, measurement, and fraction/decimal conversion tests
* Familiarity with CNC brake presses preferred (training available)
* Ability to responsibly handle confidential information
Work Environment:
The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g. working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.
Physical Demands:
The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors of remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
