The role of a Room Care Specialist is ideal for individuals who take pride in cleanliness, enjoy maintaining an active lifestyle, and find satisfaction in enhancing guest experiences within a hospitality setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- As a Room Care Specialist, your primary duty will be to ensure our guests receive exceptional hospitality services.
- Responsible for cleaning assigned guest rooms, which includes making beds, sanitizing bathrooms, dusting surfaces, and vacuuming floors.
- Change and restock bed linens, towels, and guest amenities as required.
Additional Duties:
- Conduct deep cleaning tasks as necessary.
- Manage and maintain the housekeeping supply cart daily.
Waste Management:
- Dispose of trash and recyclables efficiently.
Guest Interaction:
- Respond promptly and courteously to special requests from guests.
Turn Down Service:
- Provide evening turn down service for guests as needed.
Collaboration:
- Foster and maintain a positive working relationship with all departments within the hotel.
- Perform any other tasks as directed by your supervisor or manager.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in housekeeping is beneficial but not mandatory.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk and stand for the duration of the shift.
- Capability to push a vacuum, reach, stretch, and bend during daily tasks.
- Must be able to lift items intermittently throughout the workday.
Schedule:
- Flexible scheduling is required, including weekends and holidays.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: Starting at $15.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 35 – 42 hours per week
Shift:
- Day shift
- Morning shift
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
- 1 year of cleaning experience preferred.
- 1 year of hotel experience preferred.
