Position Summary

We are looking to expand our candidate pool for skilled Archive Coordinators to assist the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) in managing, organizing, and preserving data related to security cooperation initiatives. This includes identifying suitable databases for data storage and updating codebooks to facilitate the establishment of relationships between diverse data sets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising the Performance Improvement and Effectiveness Directorate (PIE) at DSCA on optimal methods for sharing contractor-developed deliverables through Socium.
  • Leading discussions on new Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (AM&E) requirements in collaboration with various subject matter experts (SMEs).
  • Uploading both archival and new deliverables to appropriate sections of Socium, which may involve cleansing unstructured data for conversion and upload, as well as data processing and visualization.
  • Reporting any issues identified during testing or production phases to the PIE team overseeing Socium.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience (with at least 2 years in a government context) in assessing software needs, developing and enforcing security protocols for data management, and leading a team in daily data system operations.
  • 5 years of experience (3 years in a government setting) in evaluating the archiving needs of Security Cooperation organizations and AM&E SMEs, including creating beta-test plans and managing risk during the beta testing process.
  • 3 years of experience in Security Cooperation or international programs/projects within the security sector for a national organization, NGO/IGO, UN, or private sector.
  • Possession of an active Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree.
