Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager Assistant to assist with day-to-day financial operations, including financial record-keeping, transaction processing, and reporting. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, reconciling daily transactions, and preparing financial statements and reports.

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $55,000-$65,000 based on qualifications, experience, and location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Reconcile daily financial transactions, including sales, expenses, and cash flow.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and summaries, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and assist in managing the company's cash flow.
  • Track and process employee expenses and reimbursements.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including financial statement preparation and audit support.
  • Communicate with vendors, clients, and employees to resolve financial issues or discrepancies.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience working as a bookkeeper or in a related financial role.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field (Associate's degree may be considered with relevant experience).
  • Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles, including GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis.
  • 1-2 years of experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills and a team player mentality.
