Job Description:

NCDIT-Transportation Web Systems is seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and motivating diverse project teams throughout all phases of Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid projects. Your primary goal will be to deliver documentation and artifacts that provide exceptional value to our internal and external stakeholders.

This position will involve collecting and analyzing data for potential business expansion, identifying specific business opportunities, and shareholders to support business goals. You will lead projects, coordinate with other teams, and produce quality results and outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide support as a project team member as needed.
  • Liaison with internal and external partners.
  • Assist with the preparation and review of test procedures and reports.
  • Assist with the development of a strategic customer roadmap.
  • Establish and document processes to support all areas of responsibility.
  • Develop use case scenarios for the user acceptance testing process.
  • Manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Develop and author test strategy, test plans, and test cases.
  • Create ad-hoc reports, data queries, standard reports, and dashboards to support business needs.
  • Integrate research, team ideas, and client feedback into solution requirements.
  • Maintain high-quality project and software design documentation and analysis.
  • Maintain a log of completed and ongoing system changes.
  • Identify business scenarios and document them.
  • Create and manage a project schedule and milestone plan.
  • Partner directly with business owners to implement solutions to process defects.
  • Analyze root causes of business issues and develop appropriate resolutions.
  • Utilize feedback to improve work and build on previous learnings.
  • Assist business partners with test plans and related quality reviews.
  • Test business processes and recommend relevant improvements.
Preferred Experience:
  • A bachelor's or Graduate degree in business, computer engineering, computer science, information systems, or equivalent experience.
  • Ten or more years of project management work and process experience.

  • Problem-solving with strong attention to detail Required 7 Years
  • Critical thinking and consulting experience Required 10 Years
  • Leadership and team collaboration Required 10 Years
  • Experience in software development lifecycles like Agile, Waterfall, or Scrum Required 7 Years
  • Experience with performance metrics, and statistical methods to monitor and analyze business processes Required 7 Years
  • Experience with Cloud based Software development and Cloud Operational support needs. Desired 10 Years
