Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Communications Manager to join our team at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive internal communications plans to inform and educate employees on key operational issues, strategic priorities, and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain internal communications plans to engage employees and promote organizational messaging
  • Partner with leadership to create and execute communication strategies for nursing and other key organizational areas
  • Write and disseminate key leadership communications to diverse employee audiences
  • Collaborate with Communications & Marketing teams to maximize the effectiveness and reach of internal communications
  • Assume responsibility for leading internal communications with the Nursing Shared Governance Committee
  • Develop goals and measures for the effectiveness of communications and implement tools for consistent measurement of outcomes and feedback
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant corporate communications or related experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, diplomacy, sound political judgment, flexibility, and ability to work as part of an integrated team
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with discretion and maturity
  • Ability to handle multiple projects under pressure
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in healthcare, especially nursing
